Since my early high school days, I have had a passion for sports media, with my interest fueled when I was taking pictures of varying sporting events for my high school yearbook. My freshman year of college I sought out opportunities at the university I attend, Longwood University, where I began my collegiate sports media experience as a photographer for the Men’s Basketball Team. Recently, I just finished up interning at Hampden-Sydney College, a neighboring college of Longwood University, where I was the Social Media Intern for their Baseball Team, photographing practices and games, creating digital content and graphics, and running the team’s socials. Through this opportunity, and various other roles I have held, I have developed skills in many aspects of social media, content creation, and photography. I desire to learn more to improve my skills in all aspects of social and digital media, and to obtain a career in the Sports Media field.
