Richmond Flying Squirrels
Digital Media Content Producer
my experience
Being part of an inaugural season is something I'll always cherish. As my first year in professional sports, it was a season filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable experiences. From clinching the first-half title to multiple sold-out games, community events, and so much more, this season gave me a deeper appreciation for just how diverse and rewarding a career in sports can be.

What I did
As part of a small Marketing team, I produce multimedia content and execute content strategy in a fast-paced professional sports environment. My work has included coverage of the inaugural season at CarMax Park, as well as fan experiences, community initiatives, concerts, festivals, and special events. I also contributed to the growth of one of Minor League Baseball's leading digital brands, helping generate more than 10 million impressions across Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok in May 2026. Our team ranked as the top Double-A Minor League Baseball club in social metrics in both May and June 2026, while growing social audiences by 11,000 Instagram followers and 6,000 TikTok followers between January and July 2026.

player content
One of my favorite aspects of my role this season has been creating player-focused content that allows fans to connect with the personalities beyond the bases. I develop concepts, work directly with players, and take projects from the initial brainstorm through the final production reel and distribution across multiple digital platforms. I create challenges, questions, and player-driven moments inspired by game-day themes, holidays, trending topics, and creative ideas designed to increase fan engagement. Examples include Father’s Day dad jokes, Popdarts challenges, and World Cup predictions. These pieces highlight the team beyond the field while strengthening connections between players, the organization, and the Richmond community.
AAA on the road
One of the partnership projects I have contributed to this season is the AAA on the Road series, which highlights the communities and destinations the Richmond Flying Squirrels visit throughout the season. Each month, the Communications & Broadcasting team captures B-roll from a road series, which I transform into a finished piece using Adobe Premiere Pro. After completing the edit, I collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team and submit the final content to AAA for approval before publication. This project has allowed me to combine video production, storytelling, and editing skills to create engaging content that extends the fan experience beyond the ballpark.
