player content

One of my favorite parts of my role this season is creating player-focused content that helps fans get to know the personalities behind the Richmond Flying Squirrels. I develop concepts, work directly with players, and bring ideas from the initial brainstorm to a finalized production reel shared across multiple digital platforms. I create challenges, questions, and player moments inspired by game-day themes, holidays, trending topics, and creative ideas designed to engage fans. Some examples include Father’s Day dad jokes, Popdarts challenges, and World Cup predictions. These videos showcase the team beyond the field while building stronger connections between the players, the organization, and the Richmond community.

AAA on the road

One of the partnership projects I have worked on this season is the “AAA on the Road” series, highlighting the communities and destinations the Richmond Flying Squirrels visit throughout the season. Once a month, our Communications & Broadcasting team captures footage and B-roll from a road series, which I then transform into a finished video using Adobe Premiere Pro. After producing the final content, it is shared with our Corporate Partnerships team and submitted to AAA for approval before being published. This project has allowed me to combine video production, storytelling, and editing skills to create engaging content that connects fans with the team beyond the ballpark.
